Coaches: Jay Stallings, Kevin Golchin, Drake Fisher, Robert Romano and Theo Vasquez Our Friday Beginners class is intentionally limited in size and reserved for students who are unable to attend on Mondays. If your child is available on Mondays, we kindly ask that you enroll them on that day to ensure we can support as many new players as possible. Chess isn’t just a game, it’s a lifelong adventure of strategy, problem-solving, and fun! Join Coach Jay, the 2025 recipient of the Excellence in Chess Instruction Award from the official governing body of chess in the U.S., along with his expert team and Mr. Romano, as they introduce rookies to the thrilling world of chess and help budding players sharpen their skills. Each week, students will receive personalized coaching, tackle leveled Puzzle Packs, and track their progress with their very own Chess Passport, earning awesome stickers along the way!
