About This Activity
Instructor: Angela Chin Hello and 你好 (Nǐ hǎo)! Miss Angela’s Mandarin class continues this spring for another joyful season of language learning and cultural discovery! This engaging class welcomes both new and returning students. Through interactive games, songs, storytelling, crafts, and movement, students will strengthen their Mandarin speaking and word recognition skills in a playful and supportive environment. We’ll continue building everyday vocabulary — including conversational phrases, numbers, colors, and practical expressions — while exploring the richness of Chinese culture through traditions, celebrations, food, and customs. Returning students will expand on their previous learning with new vocabulary, characters, and cultural themes, while new students will be thoughtfully supported as they jump right in. Lessons are designed to meet students where they are and keep everyone growing with confidence. All materials are provided — just bring your curiosity, energy, and a love of learning!
