Coaches: Jay Stallings, Kevin Golchin, Robert Romano & Theo Vasquez Chess isn’t just a game, it’s a lifelong adventure of strategy, problem-solving, and fun! Mondays are the perfect time for beginners and those new to the game to dive in, while intermediate and advanced players can strengthen their tactics, refine their strategies, and stay sharp. Join Coach Jay, recipient of the 2025 Excellence in Chess Instruction Award from the official governing body of chess in the U.S., along his expert team and Mr. Romano, as they guide rookies and rising stars alike through the thrilling world of chess. Each week, players receive personalized coaching, tackle leveled Puzzle Packs, and track their progress with a Chess Passport, earning awesome stickers along the way! And the best part? All materials are included—just bring your game face and get ready for some serious (and seriously fun) chess action! Volunteer Update: We love the enthusiasm of our 5th and 6th-grade students, but to keep things focused and productive, we are no longer accepting volunteers for this class. We truly appreciate their interest and encourage them to explore other exciting opportunities in the After School Enrichment Program!
