About This Activity

Vendor: Karate4KidsUSA Our Karate course is designed to build self-confidence, physical fitness, and focus while introducing students to the dynamic world of martial arts. Karate is more than just kicks and punches, it’s about patience, persistence, and discipline. Through fun, high-energy classes, students will: - Develop strength, coordination, and balance - Learn to set goals and stick to them - Improve focus and problem-solving skills - Practice self-defense in a safe and supportive environment With soft-target training and limited peer-to-peer contact, this program is designed specifically for young children, ensuring a fun, engaging, and empowering experience. Our expert instructors make sure that every lesson is filled with learning, movement, and motivation! We can’t wait to see our students challenge themselves, grow, and have fun as they embark on this exciting martial arts journey. Let’s get ready to kick, punch, and achieve great things—together! Uniform Requirement: Students are required to have a karate uniform for class and belt testing. Families who already have a uniform from last semester may absolutely reuse it. New uniforms may be purchased for an additional $50 fee. IMPORTANT: Belt testing is included in the class price and will take place when students become eligible. Belt testing in karate is a structured process that allows students to demonstrate their progress, skills, and dedication as they advance through different levels of training. Each belt represents a new stage of mastery, with students learning and refining techniques, forms (kata), self-discipline, and mental focus along the way. During a belt test, students perform a series of techniques, drills, katas, and sparring exercises (depending on the level) to show proficiency in what they’ve learned. Instructors evaluate their strength, precision, control, and understanding of martial arts principles before awarding the next belt.
