Teacher: Karate 4 Kids USA Build confidence, focus, and strength with Karate 4 Kids USA! We're excited to welcome this popular program back to Laurence, where students will discover the fundamentals of martial arts in a fun, supportive, and high-energy environment. Through engaging lessons, students will develop coordination, balance, self-discipline, and perseverance while learning age-appropriate martial arts techniques and self-defense skills. Each class encourages goal setting, respect, and confidence, helping students grow both on and off the mat. Designed specifically for young learners, the program features soft-target training and limited peer-to-peer contact, creating a safe and encouraging environment where every student can succeed. Whether your child is brand new to karate or looking to continue their martial arts journey, this class offers an exciting opportunity to stay active, build character, and have fun! Important: Students who become eligible may participate in an optional belt testing evaluation. Belt testing gives students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills, techniques, and knowledge they've developed as they progress through the Karate 4 Kids USA curriculum. If a belt testing event is scheduled, enrolled families will be notified via email with all of the details. We anticipate offering a belt testing opportunity during the fall trimester. A karate uniform ($50) is required for class and belt testing; returning students may reuse their existing uniform, and new uniforms are available for purchase through registration.
