Taught by Concorde Education Get ready for a deliciously fun adventure into the world of Candy Science! In this exciting hands-on class, we’ll turn sweet treats into science experiments as we explore fascinating scientific concepts using candy as our main tool! Each week, students will engage in interactive experiments that make learning fun and tasty: - Watch chocolate melt as we explore states of matter - Discover density with candy floating (or sinking!) in different liquids - Unleash chemical reactions with fizzy, popping candy experiments - Experiment, observe, and explore science in the most delicious way! This class is perfect for curious minds who love science, creativity, and of course… candy! Allergy & Consumption Notice: Students will be consuming candy in this class. The following is a full list of the candies we will be using: Chocolate bars (milk, dark, and white chocolate), Gummy candies (bears, worms, etc.), Jellybeans, Jolly Ranchers, Lifesavers, Sugar (to make rock candy), Pop Rocks, Skittles, M&Ms, Carbonated soda, Mini marshmallows, Gum drops, Licorice, Hershey's Kisses, Starburst, Tootsie Rolls, and Sour Candies.
