About This Activity
Teacher: Ms. Lemus Let your imagination come to life! In this hands-on enrichment class, students will learn how to safely use real maker tools, including cardboard scissors, low-temperature hot glue guns, rulers, and other building materials, to transform ordinary cardboard into incredible creations. Whether they dream of designing arcade games, marble runs, dollhouses, robots, castles, vehicles, or inventions of their own, the possibilities are endless! Along the way, students will strengthen their creativity, problem-solving, engineering, and design skills while bringing their ideas from sketch to finished project. No experience is necessary. Just bring a big imagination and a love of creating! Note: This class is open to students in Grades 1–6. Because students will be using hot glue guns and scissors, Kindergarten students are not eligible to enroll due to safety considerations.
