Program Description: Join us at camp for an exciting Fall Outdoor Challenge designed specifically for your Girl Scout and family! Earn the fall segment of this four-segment patch program by completing exciting challenges that embrace the spirit of fall. Here's a sneak peek at what awaits: Nature Detective Station: Take a magnifying glass and compass with you as you hike the trails. Search for colors, shapes, and patterns, know how to identify and avoid poison ivy, and learn how to leave no trace. Plus, collect items to make your own nature confetti and nature bookmark. Campfire Station: Discover different ways to build a fire, light a match (with supervision), and enjoy a delicious s’more. Outdoor Essentials Station: Pitch a tent, tie some knots, and make your very own first aid kit to take home. Snack station: Learn about knife safety and put your skills to the test by cutting up an apple to dip into some delicious toppings like caramel and sprinkles. Outdoor Adventurers Station: Adventure out and canoe on Anderson Pond. (Daisies and Brownies must have an adult chaperone in the canoe with them). Scenic Scouts: Hop on the wagon for a ride around camp. See if you can spot any animals and enjoy the scenery as the colors of the leaves change. Sing songs and have a s'more.
