About This Activity
Step into a world of gods, heroes, monsters, and ancient mysteries. Students will dive into myths and legends from around the globe, uncovering the meaning behind these timeless stories while analyzing themes, symbolism, and storytelling techniques through discussion and interactive activities. Teacher Bio: I am a veteran educator with 17 years of experience teaching upper elementary through high school students in History, English Language Arts, and Art. I have taught in homeschool co-ops, educated my own children, and currently teach in Hillsborough County public schools, though my heart has always remained in the homeschool community. I specialize in discussion-based, hands-on learning that encourages students to think critically, communicate confidently, and make real-world connections while creating engaging, supportive classrooms where students feel challenged, inspired, and excited to learn.
