About This Activity
Do you want your child to grow in confidence, responsibility, and teamwork while building strong faith-based values? Leaders in Training is a hands-on, interactive class for ages 8–13 that teaches leadership skills rooted in Scripture and applied in everyday life. Students will practice teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution, self-control, etiquette, and how to stand firm when pressured—all through fun activities, role-play, and service projects. Each week includes a short Bible story, group challenges, reflection time, and a creative portfolio entry. By the end of 12 weeks, students will take home their own Leadership Journal filled with lessons, drawings, and reflections to remind them of the skills they’ve learned. CLASS DONATION LIST (not required): • GLUE STICKS • PENCILS • CRAYONS • SCENT FREE SANITIZING WIPES • COPY PAPER BIO: Graduate of NOVA Southeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I taught with the school district for 4 years, certified in all subjects for the K-6 age group, and ESOL.
