Do you want your child to grow in confidence, responsibility, and teamwork while building strong faith-based values? Leaders in Training is a hands-on, interactive class for ages 9–12 that teaches leadership skills rooted in Scripture and applied to everyday life. Students will practice teamwork, problem-solving, conflict resolution, self-control, etiquette, and how to stand firm under pressure—all through engaging activities, role-play, and service projects. Each week includes a short Bible lesson, group challenges, reflection time, and practical skill-building exercises designed to help students lead with confidence and character. Students will need to bring a folder to class to keep and organize their work throughout the semester. BIO: My name is Hannah Stevens, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University. I taught in the public school system for four years & am certified in all subjects for grades K–6, as well as ESOL. During that time, I worked in blended classrooms serving gifted students alongside students with varying learning & behavioral exceptionalities. That experience strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, support multiple learning styles, & create structured environments where students at every level can thrive. My faith is central to who I am & guides the way I lead & serve. In addition to teaching, I am a dedicated member of the HEAT Administrative Team, serving as the Elementary Principal & Administrative Assistant to Teresa, the owner of HEAT. Teaching is my passion, & I am grateful to use both my classroom experience & organizational skills to help keep HEAT running smoothly, our students safe, & learning in a fun yet structured environment where they can grow with confidence.
