About This Activity
Discover the deeper meaning behind the magic of Narnia! Inspired by Roar: A Christian Family Guide to Narnia and the beloved stories of C.S. Lewis, this engaging class invites middle and high school students to explore Christian themes and biblical connections found throughout the books. Students will examine meaningful lessons about courage, sacrifice, forgiveness, temptation, redemption, and the battle between good and evil. Through games, crafts, creative projects, challenges, group discussions, and other hands-on activities that complement the curriculum and books, students will bring the stories to life while strengthening their critical-thinking skills and exploring how these timeless lessons connect to their own lives. My name is Ashley “Ash” Knutson, and I am a homeschool parent, educator, and military spouse with years of teaching experience in public schools and homeschool co-ops both in the U.S. and overseas. With backgrounds in education and medical support, I am passionate about creating engaging, hands-on classes that inspire curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a love of learning. I have taught a wide range of subjects including debate, geography, history, arts and crafts, and team-building activities, encouraging students to challenge themselves while enjoying the learning journey.
