About This Activity
Little Homesteaders is a hands-on, faith-filled class for children ages 5–8! Kids will explore life on a homestead through animals, gardening, food, nature, and fun hands-on activities while learning how God created the world around us and how we can care for His creation. Each class will include a simple Bible lesson, creative activity, and plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and get their hands dirty! Bio: Hi, my name is Ashley Waters. I have been working in the Veterinary field for 22 years. I have worked at a small Animal Clinic, a spay and neuter clinic, with pocket pets and all the farm animals you can think of. I decided last year that I wanted to hang up my scrubs and homeschool my kids so here we are in the homeschool journey. I decided that I could help out and teach everything that I’ve learned in my 22 years of being a vet tech, and I’m really excited about sharing my knowledge with your children. My hobbies are following Jesus, riding horses and hanging out with my husband and my kids.
