About This Activity
This course introduces students to the exciting world of the beauty industry, building foundational skills, professionalism, and creativity. Basic Supplies needed- mannequin head with floor stand, comb set, hair clips, hairbrushes, spray bottle, Hair cutting shears, blow dryer, curling wand, straightener. Grade level- 7th through high school. Teacher bio- I have been doing hair professionally for 19 years. I lived in Delaware for all but the last 2 years, where I decided to take my ""show"" on the road and became the Traveling Stylist, where I go to people's homes and cut and color their hair at the convenience of their home. I also began teaching at Heat this past semester and look forward to teaching students the skills to begin to build a successful career in the Cosmetology world.
