About This Activity
Get ready for four mornings of Christmas creativity, teamwork, and challenges! Christmas Creative Challenge Camp is a hands-on enrichment experience where students will work together to solve problems, create original stories, design and build, write scripts, and tackle exciting Christmas-themed challenges. Throughout the week, students will strengthen creative writing, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, leadership, design, and presentation skills—all while having a ton of Christmas fun! Students will work in teams to take on activities such as Christmas escape-room and logic challenges, creative team-building competitions, story and character development, script writing, Christmas design and building challenges, and imaginative real-world problem-solving scenarios. Write & Perform Students will create characters and original Christmas stories, write scripts, develop dialogue, design simple props, rehearse, and perform their creations. Design & Create Students will move through the design process as they brainstorm, sketch, plan, build, test, and modify their creations in response to surprise challenges. The Ultimate Christmas Challenge The week concludes with a North Pole crisis! Teams must combine everything they’ve learned to develop a creative solution, design a prototype, write a persuasive pitch, create a commercial or skit, and present their idea in Shark Tank: North Pole Edition! Teacher Bio: Nicole Golden is a certified secondary English educator with a passion for helping students grow as confident readers and writers. She loves creating engaging, thoughtful classroom experiences that strengthen both skills and character. Nicole is married to Bryant, the Lead Pastor of Centerpoint Church, and together they are raising four wonderful kids. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys investing in her family and church community.
