About This Activity
Intermediate Gymnastics Class: Children participating in this class will learn bridge kick-over, handstand bridge, round-off, intro to back handspring, and intro to front handspring. To qualify for this class, participants must have a forward roll, backward roll, handstand without assistance, and cartwheel. They must be able to do a bridge from the ground up with ease. The students in this class have to have enough upper body strength to support their weight on their hands easily. We will be doing some low beam skills also such as handstand and side handstand. If you are not sure if your child qualifies for this class please feel free to email me your questions. Bio: My name is Pamela Armel and I coached competitive gymnastics for 23 years until last year when I decided to stay home to homeschool my children. I enjoy encouraging and teaching kids in the sport to help them build confidence and enjoy being active. I look forward to meeting you soon. pamela.armel79@gmail.com
