Join me for a semester of learning! This year our 2nd/3rd grade students will dive into learning about Hispanic Culture & Spanish in our daily lives! This age group will be taught basic conversation words and phrases, proper greetings, body parts, family members, daily household objects, numbers and colors. Every week we will take about 15 minutes to learn briefly about a different Hispanic country and its cultural practices. Toward the end of the 12 weeks, each student will pick a country and make a poster to present to the class. I am so excited about this session and look forward to meeting all my students/parents. My name is Karla Sariñana. I was born and raised in Mexico City, and Spanish is my first language. I currently live in Tampa with my husband and our two teenage children. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and have experience teaching elementary school students. I am the owner of floral design and event planning business. I am very excited about the opportunity to teach Spanish and share my language and culture with your children.
