Learn to play the violin through songs, games, and fun. Suzuki-style activities are used to teach children the basics of rhythm, pitch, and tone-production. Parental involvement is encouraged – learn along with your child so you can be the coach for practice at home. Each student will need a violin. Rental and purchase recommendations will be provided by the instructor at the first class session. Barbra Biagiotti studied music education at the University of South Florida. Her teaching experience includes teaching strings at the elementary and middle school level for Hillsborough County Schools, classes for homeschool groups and co-ops, and private lessons in flute, violin, and piano, as well as homeschooling her son who is now graduated.
