About This Activity
Many of your have your children signed up for multiple classes. Parents are encouraged (due to limited waiting space) and welcomed to drop off students for HEAT classes. The HEAT policy is that students must be picked up if they have a break longer than the standard 15 minute break between classes. This does not include the 30 minute lunch breaks we have built into the Tuesday and Thursday MS/HS Day schedules. To help with this policy, we have set up a study hall option so that parents do not need to come and pick up their children if there is a break in the class schedule. This is also helpful for parents who have schedule conflicts and need to bring students early or pick them up late after class. This policy is in place to maintain a safe and orderly facility. Study Hall Supervision (1-Hour Session) Cost: $120 for 12 weeks (Cost is per registration — Ex: If a child needs 2 study hall sessions for 12 weeks, the cost is $120 x 2) Grade Range: All Ages (as needed) Students will be monitored by a paid adult in the lobby area. They can use this time to study, read, visit quietly, play games, etc. This may not be an appropriate option for children who struggle with behavior challenges. All HEAT guidelines and behavior expectations apply. This service is not covered by Step Up for Students
