In this engaging social studies class, students will build chronological thinking and historical inquiry skills as they explore the similarities and differences between life long ago and life today. Through stories, crafts, games, and hands-on activities, students will discover how home and school environments, transportation, communication, communities, and daily life have changed throughout history. Students will practice thinking like historians as they compare the past and present and even think about the future! Hi, I'm Jackie! I’m a wife, homeschooling mom of three, and a passionate educator with a Master’s in Elementary and Special Education from Rutgers University. I have experience teaching students of all levels and learning styles, and I love creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me cheering on the sidelines at my kids’ sporting events, walking my dog, or exploring theme parks with my family.
