About This Activity
Creative Movement Dance/ Ballet Elementary age beginners and students with dance experience welcome. Classes will consist of Floor time, Barre Time and Moving Across the Floor in creative fun ways all while learning Ballet technique. Dancers will learn Ballet positions, steps and build on their skills. A fun encouraging environment for all dancers. Students should wear any color leotard, tights & ballet shoes. Dancers can wear a simple skirt or loose shorts that do not restrict their movement, just no tutus. Mrs. Kristen has over 35 years of ballet and dance experience. She is a classically trained ballet dancer and was a member of the Baton Rouge Ballet Theater Company in Baton Rouge, La. She has performed and taught dance for many years in various capacities in Adulthood. A teacher at heart, she loves to share her passion of dance with children.
