I am excited to be a part of the Tampa Bay HEAT and offering Intermediate Guitar! This Intermediate Guitar class is designed for students who already know the basics and are ready to grow. We will focus on improving technique, learning more complex chords and scales, developing rhythm and lead skills, and deepening overall musicianship in a supportive and encouraging environment. Bio: Todd Grubbs has been teaching guitar since 1989 and has spent decades helping students move beyond the basics, refine their skills, and grow as musicians. Teaching remains one of his greatest passions, and he genuinely enjoys helping students build confidence, strengthen technique, and deepen their understanding of music. Todd studied at Hillsborough Community College and spent two years at Berklee College of Music in Boston. In addition to teaching, he has maintained an active career as a recording artist and performer. Since founding the Todd Grubbs School of Music in 2000, he has released 15 albums of original music, performed throughout the United States and Europe, and seen his music achieve both critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. His work has been featured in national publications, and he has collaborated with many notable musicians, including Derek Sherinian, Chris Poland, Blues Saraceno, Don Preston, Sean Malone, Mike Keneally, John Wesley, and Mark Prator. Despite a busy performance and recording schedule, Todd has always remained committed to teaching. His years of experience as both a professional musician and educator allow him to help students develop strong musical foundations while encouraging them to reach their full potential as guitarists.
