This 2nd/3rd grade reading class supports growing readers as they move toward stronger, more independent reading. Instruction focuses on advanced phonics skills (including multisyllabic words), reading fluency, and reading comprehension. Engaging texts and thoughtful discussions help students read with accuracy, expression, and understanding. TEACHER BIO: Wendy is an elementary reading instructor at the HEAT and a mom to two boys.
