About This Activity
Summer Nerf Wars ☀️💦 Elementary-aged students only! If you are interested in coordinating Nerf Wars for other age groups, please email tampabayheat@gmail.com Summer Nerf Wars will take place on Fridays from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. We’ve adjusted the time to help avoid the peak summer heat and those typical Florida afternoon rain showers! All families are asked to bring something to help build our course. Large boxes, tents, tables, and similar items make great barricades and hiding spots! This is not a drop-off event. For the safety of all children, a parent must remain on-site. If this rule is not followed, you may be asked not to participate in future Nerf events. Parents are also asked to help during the event. Please plan to assist in one of the following ways: Help set up the course before the event Help during the battles to keep games safe and organized Help clean up the course afterward Things to bring: Nerf gun (HEAT will supply the darts) Something to add to the course (large boxes, tables, tents, etc.) Plenty to drink — these kids get thirsty, so bring more than you think you’ll need! A snack to share (optional) Cost: FREE for HEAT members $5 for non-HEAT members We look forward to some fun summer battles! 💥
