About This Activity
New projects! Have you ever wanted to create your own apps, but didn’t know how to get started? In this class, students will learn how to make their own apps using App Inventor, a free software used for making apps for Androids. There will be different projects from the Fall 2025 semester. Students will need a computer with the ability to connect to the internet. Bio: Tanci Mishler has been working with children and teens in the library since she graduated from high school. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. She has taught classes for homeschoolers since 2008 as part of the library programs she coordinated and implemented through the Hillsborough County Public Library. After leaving the library system to home school her own children, she began offering STEAM Station programs at local libraries and began teaching a variety of classes with the Tampa Bay Heat.
