Little Science Discoveries introduces young scientists to the world around them through experiments, demonstrations, games, crafts, movement, stories, and hands-on exploration. Each class introduces an age-appropriate science concept while encouraging students to ask questions, make predictions, observe cause and effect, learn science vocabulary, and share what they discover. Topics may include: Life Science: plants, animals, habitats, and life cycles Earth Science: rocks, soil, water, weather, and seasons Space Science: the sun, moon, stars, and planets Physical Science: force and motion, magnets, light, sound, matter, and energy This is a great first science class for curious Kindergarten and 1st-grade students. No previous science experience is required. Students may take the class more than once, as lessons, experiments, games, and activities change from year to year.
