About This Activity
Quiet on set! Want to learn more about the film industry and how films are made? Interested in making your own films? In this class, we will learn more about the way films are made, the different jobs on a film set, and more. Students will work on their own scripts, work with others in the class to film and edit their short films, and work on advertisements for Tampa Bay Heat events and activities. Tanci Mishler has been working with children and teens in the library since she graduated from high school. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. She has taught classes for homeschoolers since 2008 as part of the library programs she coordinated and implemented through the Hillsborough County Public Library. After leaving the library system to home school her own children, she began offering STEAM Station programs at local libraries and began teaching a variety of classes with the Tampa Bay Heat.
