HEAT PRE-K PREP: Little hands learning...little hearts growing! Preschool prep is a joyful faith-based class designed specifically for little leaners to explore letters, numbers, colors, shapes and fun classroom routines. Through engaging weekly themes, stories, hands on activities and crafts each child will develop a love for learning, make friends, build confidence while having a blast along the way! In this nurturing, Christ centered environment, children will not only develop early academic skills, but also grow in kindness, gratitude and a love for God and others. Every little heart is celebrated, every little mind is encouraged and every child inspired to shine brightly! BIO: Hi, I’m Heather Jones, an experienced and passionate educator with a diverse professional background. I am originally from California and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Florida. I began my career as an exercise physiologist in cardiology before transitioning into the very fun and unique job as a dolphin trainer; an experience that strengthened my creativity and love of learning. Later, I earned my teaching certification and currently have six years of experience teaching elementary education at a Christian school. I've been homeschooling my two children for 6 years and our family has been an active part of the Tampa Bay HEAT community for the past 5 years. I have a genuine love for children, a strong passion for teaching and strive to make a meaningful impact in each child’s life. My goal is to make learning fun while also creating memories, building confidence, and providing a safe, and loving environment where every child feels valued and supported.
