Please note: HEAT’s IOWA testing dates will not comply with the 5/31 deadline for PEP students. Location: HRC at CenterPoint Deadline to order: April 20, 2026 (Per Iowa testing requirements) Fee: $50 for the first child, $35 for each additional child Description: The IOWA Assessment is a standardized achievement test that evaluates student performance in key academic areas, including reading, language, and math. It provides a broader overview of academic progress and may be used to meet evaluation requirements. This test takes one hour to complete. About the Practitioner Shelley Whisenant is a wife to one and a mama of five. She has a BA in International Studies, an MA in Cross-Cultural Communication, and a graduate certificate in both Teaching English as a Second Language, and Dyslexia Education. She started her education career in public school, has taught in community college, in homeschool co-ops, and privately as well. Shelley has been homeschooling for 22 years. She has graduated four, and is still homeschooling one more. Shelley is passionate about homeschooling and is looking forward to helping you with encouragement, testing, consultations, and portfolio evaluations of your homeschool student!
