Middle School Agriculture 5th–8th Grade Agriculture is so much more than farming! Students will explore the science, technology, animals, plants, food, business, and environmental systems that make agriculture possible. Students Will Explore: Livestock & animal agriculture Crops, plants & soil science Hands-on experiments & investigations Farm equipment & technology Farm-to-table & food production Pollinators & sustainability Agriculture, business & careers Students will experiment, investigate, create, problem-solve, and discover the many exciting opportunities within agriculture. Explore Agriculture. Build Skills. Grow Your Future. Bio: Hi, my name is Ashley Waters I have been working in the Veterinary field for 22 years. I have worked at a small Animal Clinic, a spay and neuter clinic, with pocket pets and all the farm animals you can think of. I decided last year that I wanted to hang up my scrubs and homeschool my kids so here we are in the homeschool journey. I decided that I could help out and teach everything that I’ve learned in my 22 years of being a vet tech, and I’m really excited about sharing my knowledge with your children. My hobbies are following Jesus, riding horses and hanging out with my husband and my kids.
