Tampa Bay Heat is launching a brand-new Student Government, and we want students who are ready to lead, serve, and make a difference! This is your opportunity to help shape school culture, create fun events, encourage school spirit, and represent student ideas and leadership. Possible Leadership Positions: President Secretary Vice President Treasurer Event Coordinator Social Media / Communications Community Outreach Leader Class Representatives Why Join Student Government? • Develop leadership and teamwork skills • Help plan school activities and events •Make a positive impact on campus culture • Build friendships and school unity •Gain valuable experience for college and future careers Middle School will meet twice a month during lunch on Tuesdays. Meeting schedule provided upon registration. Bio: For those who may not know me, my name is Tanci Mishler. I have been a teacher with Tampa Bay HEAT for many years, primarily teaching coding and technology classes. Before my time with HEAT, I worked in public service as a librarian for Hillsborough County and served as a library director in Nebraska. Additionally, I have completed the Sunshine State Leadership program and held leadership positions within the Collaborative Summer Library Program, a national library organization.
