About This Activity
Step back in time to an era that changed the world forever: the Industrial Revolution! In this unique and immersive Minecraft class, you won't just learn about history—you'll build it. From the smog-filled streets of London to the sprawling factories that powered a new age, we'll recreate the key inventions and innovations that defined this pivotal period. Students will need to have a device with Minecraft and a Minecraft account for this class. Bio: Tanci Mishler has been working with children and teens in the library since she graduated from high school. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. She has taught classes for homeschoolers since 2008 as part of the library programs she coordinated and implemented through the Hillsborough County Public Library. After leaving the library system to home school her own children, she began offering STEAM Station programs at local libraries and began teaching a variety of classes with the Tampa Bay Heat.
