STEAMCraft Workshop: Minecraft in Real Life! Build. Craft. Explore. Create! Get ready to bring your favorite Minecraft adventures off the screen and into the real world! At STEAMCraft Workshop, kids will dive into hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) activities inspired by the Minecraft universe. Each day, young creators will craft and take home their own Minecraft-inspired projects: -Make an exploding Creeper that's both safe and super fun! -Plant and take home a real sapling just like reforesting your own world. -Spawn your very own pet Slime to keep by your side. -Craft a glowing torch to light up your adventures. -Design an item frame to display your favorite memories in your room. Plus, each day brings a Lego Minecraft-themed build challenge, where builders team up to engineer epic creations in the real world! After you've mastered the day's STEAM challenges, it's time for Technology Time! Play Minecraft (or another E-rated game) with your friends, explore each other's worlds, or even build a brand-new world together! What to Bring: A device with Minecraft or another E-rated video game A lunch and labeled water bottle Extra controllers (optional but sharing makes it even more fun!) Join us for a week of imagination, invention, and Minecraft magic because at STEAMCraft Workshop, the only limit is your creativity! Teacher Bio: My name is Ms. Sarah and I am one of the HEAT's Elementary Teachers. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Education and English. I also have my Lutheran Christian Teacher's Diploma which means I have additional credentials for teaching in Christian schools. I have taught and tutored for many years in schools throughout the US and I also had the fun opportunity to teach English while living in Belgium.
