About This Activity
Our Youth Fundamentals - Introduction to Racing Program is geared toward paddlers who have come through our Youth Camps, Youth Intro to Paddling course, or Sprint into September course. This multidisciplinary paddling program continues to develop fundamental paddling skills while also focusing on building foundation fitness skills through developmentally appropriate cross-training and physical activities. This program includes paddling in canoes, kayaks, surfskis, outrigger canoes, and dragon boats, allowing paddlers to experience the different competitive avenues open to them at False Creek Racing Canoe Club. This program includes full Summer Programming as well as an opportunity to compete in local regattas. Spring Session (April to June) - $430 Spring Session - Part Time (Saturdays only) - $250 Summer Session (July to September) - $900 This Program runs: SPRING SESSION: April to June - 2x/wk Thursdays - 4:00-5:30pm Saturdays - 12:30-2:30pm SUMMER SESSION: July and August Summer Camp Monday-Friday - 9:00am-3:00pm September - 2x/wk Thursdays - 4:00-5:30pm Saturdays - 12:30-2:30pm
