DETAILS- The focus of this program is on the 5 pillars of elite athleticism: Speed, Power, Agility, Quickness, and Conditioning. Registered athletes will receive detailed instruction on the biomechanics of sprinting, jumping, cutting, reactivity, and 1st step power. By the end of the program our athletes will know how to: sprint faster, accelerate more explosively, jump higher and farther, change direction quicker, decelerate under control, breathe properly, and avoid injury during hard fitness sessions. Athletes entering the Speed School will be physically prepared for the fall season. PROGRAM STRUCTURE Note: 10 week Speed School allows for 4 weeks vacation Athletes will choose either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Registered athletes will train at a frequency of 2 sessions per week for a total of 6 weeks = 12 sessions Athletes are free to choose any 12 sessions (within the 10 week program). Our flexible program has been designed for athletes wanting to train all summer but need 4 weeks off for vacation. If you need more than 4 weeks off for vacation, athletes may choose to train 3 sessions per week (to complete their 12 sessions). Just sign up for either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday option and then contact Adam Plummer to set up the weeks where you will train 3 sessions per week. If you are not going on vacation and would like to train for more than 6 weeks/ 12 sessions, this can be arranged.
