As robots become more accessible to hobbyists and their presence in professional settings grow, this camp offers the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Campers will design, code, and build their very own robots to tackle real-world tasks and challenges all while learning the nuts and bolts of robotics. Come sign up... YOU BOT THIS! Join this camp if you are interested in building or creating robots and the science behind them. This camp features beginner-level coding languages. No previous coding knowledge is required! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 6 and 7 in September 2025. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7). Girls* and women* bring value and diversity to STEM, and through providing a girl*-focused space, we encourage and inspire the next generation of women* in STEM. Geering Up holds All Girls* Camps every summer to encourage girls* to discover and explore their love of science and engineering. All Girls* Camps offer the same activities as their co-ed counterparts in a girl*-focused space. *We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields.
