About This Activity

Cultivate your creativity while learning all about the world around us! Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) camps blend STEM concepts with artistic design. Get ready to tap into your creative side through a variety of exciting hands-on activities while learning about energy, the earth, electricity, and more! Join us for a week filled with design inquiries and fun activities... full STEAM ahead! Join this camp to unleash your creative side—let’s combine the worlds of art and science! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 2 and 3 in September 2025. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7). Girls* and women* bring value and diversity to STEM, and through providing a girl*-focused space, we encourage and inspire the next generation of women* in STEM. Geering Up holds All Girls* Camps every summer to encourage girls* to discover and explore their love of science and engineering. All Girls* Camps offer the same activities as their co-ed counterparts in a girl*-focused space. *We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields. Cis girls/women and trans, genderqueer, or non-binary people are welcome at our All Girls* programming. For more information, visit our All Girls* page on our website.
