About This Activity

Technology makes up the world around us; but how can your young curious minds explore the world of computer science? Tiny Technologists is the place to start!! From engaging computer games to a chance at building your very first block code, this camp is the perfect digital playground for creative imaginations to run wild. Our curriculum teaches the basic principles of computational thinking and coding in byte-sized chunks! With a focus on introductory computer-based activities, this camp requires no previous computer experience. Join this camp if you want to become more acquainted with how computers work and get an early introduction to computational thinking! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 2 and 3 in September 2026. Girls* thrive when they have a focused space to discover, explore, and cultivate their love for science and engineering. Geering Up’s annual All Girls* Week encourages girls* and inspires the next generation of women* scientists. All Girls* camps offer the same STEM activities as their co-ed counterparts. *We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields. Cis girls/women and trans, genderqueer, or non-binary people are welcome at our All Girls* programming. For more information, visit our All Girls* page on our website. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
