About This Activity
Ready to gain a deeper understanding of our planet and how humans impact it? Explore what makes our earth rich in biodiversity and examine how it all comes together to create one interconnected system. Through investigative activities and hands-on modelling, participants will analyze the impacts of technology on the environment, exploring innovations and challenges alike. Throughout the week, participants will put their learnings to the test by designing and modelling their own sustainable cities using industry-standard software. This program gives participants the chance to connect, explore, and create while building a deeper understanding of the world around us. Join this program if you are passionate about current environmental issues and want to contribute to a more sustainable future! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 10, 11, and 12 in September 2026. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
