About This Activity
Science is more than just bubbling beakers and white lab coats! Join Geering Up for a two-day session where participants will use the Scientific Method in partnership with the Engineering Design Process to engage in hands-on activities. Teachers will explore the use of open-ended challenges that show students how creativity and science can go hand in hand, while focusing on how to ask good questions and project-based learning. This session will provide teachers with inspiration to incorporate low-cost projects in the style of scientific research into their teaching, allowing students to engage with STEAM in a collaborative learning environment. Designed for grades 7-12.
