About This Activity
Our Youth Fundamentals - Introduction to Racing Program is geared toward paddlers who have come through our Youth Camps, Youth Intro to Paddling course, or Sprint into September course. This multidisciplinary paddling program continues to develop fundamental paddling skills while also focusing on building foundation fitness skills through developmentally appropriate cross-training and physical activities. This program includes paddling in canoes, kayaks, surfskis, outrigger canoes, and dragon boats, allowing paddlers to experience the different competitive avenues open to them through False Creek Sprint & False Creek Racing Canoe Club. Fees include: - Coached sessions 2x per week - Regatta Coaching - CKBC & CKC Fees to ensure everyone can attend CKBC sanctioned events - Regatta fees not included Spring Sessions: Thursday - 4:00-5:30pm Saturdays - 12:30-2:30pm
