About This Activity
Our Youth Fundamentals - Introduction to Racing Program is geared toward paddlers who have come through our Youth Camps, Youth Intro to Paddling course, or Sprint into September course. This multidisciplinary paddling program continues to develop fundamental paddling skills while also focusing on building foundation fitness skills through developmentally appropriate cross-training and physical activities. This program includes paddling in canoes, kayaks, surfskis, outrigger canoes, and dragon boats, allowing paddlers to experience the different competitive avenues open to them through False Creek Sprint & False Creek Racing Canoe Club. This program includes full Summer Programming as well as an opportunity to compete in local regattas. (Regatta fees not included in program fee) SUMMER SESSION: July and August Summer Camp Monday-Friday - 9:00am-3:00pm September - 2x/wk Tuesday - 4:00-5:30pm Saturdays - 12:30-2:30pm
