Ages 3–6: Campers will explore the busy world of city helpers, vehicles, and signs through playful observation and hands-on creativity. From a real-world scavenger hunt to building their own vehicles and acting out helper roles, this session connects young learners with the systems that keep a city running. Parents are invited to join a city helper parade and explore the sights together. Ages 7–12: From False Creek’s past to Vancouver’s future, campers will dive into how cities change and function. Through urban sketching, role-based interviews, and collaborative games, they’ll explore systems like transit, waste, and civic planning. The day ends with charades and sharing, as kids reflect on what they’ve seen and how cities can grow better.
