Ages 3–6: Children will explore the forest as junior nature detectives—using touch, sight, and sound to investigate the hidden patterns of trees, leaves, and forest critters. With bark rubbings, leaf collages, and a forest obstacle course, campers will build early science skills through playful observation and movement. They'll wrap up the day by guiding their grown-ups through a mini tree discovery walk and gallery of nature art. Ages 7–12: Campers will dive into the forest ecosystem through field journaling, species research, and silent observation. From tracking insects to studying leaf traits, they’ll sharpen their ability to gather and interpret real-world data. Each camper will choose a forest species to research in depth and share their findings through drawings, facts, and a spotlight talk at the end of the day.
