About This Activity
Ages 3–6: Campers will explore the beach using their five senses: feeling textures, hearing ocean sounds, and spotting shiny shells and seaweed. They’ll create ocean shakers, investigate natural materials, and play shoreline games that bring marine life to life. The day wraps with a parent-child sensory walk and seaside music performance. Ages 7–12: From wave tanks to tide barrier challenges, this session dives into the forces that shape our shorelines. Campers will build, test, and refine their ocean systems using real tools and team problem-solving. Parents join to observe the results and test the strength of their child's tide wall creation in action.
