Design your dream boutique! Ever dreamed of owning your own store? In this hands-on STEAM camp, young designers ages 7-12 will dive into the world of retail design. Campers will explore the creative process of designing a boutique from start to finish, whether it’s a cozy bookstore, a whimsical candy shop, a trendy shoe store, or a luxurious skincare boutique. Campers will: - Develop a Concept: Brainstorm their dream store: what will it sell? What’s the vibe? Who are the customers? - Sketch and Plan: Draw floor plans, design store layouts, and think about how to make their boutique both functional and fabulous. - Build a 3D Model: Bring their store to life using recycled materials, create signage, decorate displays, and even design packaging for their products. By the end of the week, each camper will have the skills and confidence to think like a designer and entrepreneur. No experience needed, just bring your creativity and big ideas! Perfect for: Aspiring designers, young entrepreneurs, and anyone who loves to dream up beautiful spaces! Petit Architect has been inspiring young designers for 8 years by fostering creativity and a love for design, empowering the next generation to shape the world around them. Please bring nut-free snacks, lunch and water, and be dressed and ready for the elements. We will go outside for breaks/lunch/games. Children will build a model to bring home.
