Magical Fairytale Science – Outdoor STEAM Adventure (Ages 3-6) Step Into a World of Wonder — Where Fairytales Meet Outdoor Science! At Compass Outdoor’s Magical Fairytale Science – Outdoor STEAM Adventure, young explorers (ages 3-6) experience the magic of fairytales while developing early STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills through outdoor adventures and project-based learning (PBL). Each day, campers will dive into classic storybook worlds, bringing tales to life through hands-on science activities across Vancouver’s most beautiful parks — Vanier Park, Camosun Bog, Pacific Spirit Park, Musqueam Park, and Jericho Beach. At this outdoor summer camp in Vancouver, children will: Follow forest fairy Tinker’s secret missions in nature. Create maps to help Little Red Riding Hood find her way safely through the forest. Explore material strength and engineer houses for the Three Little Pigs. Act out the Three Billy Goats Gruff story and build sturdy bridges. Craft adventure tools like bows, arrows, and tents for a Robin Hood quest! Through hands-on outdoor learning, story-based exploration, and STEAM activities, kids build creativity, critical thinking, and a love for nature — making this one of Vancouver’s most enchanting STEAM outdoor camps for young kids!
