About This Activity
Journey to the ocean and back with Sammy the Pacific Salmon. Each week students will explore a different topic from the lifecycle of salmon through stories, activities, technical crafts, and games. We'll learn why salmon are a keystone species, the threats to their world, and how we can help. Along the journey we will create our own fish and mammals, use computer code to restore a salmon spawning creek, build a LegoTM fish ladder, complete a species count, and work together to create an entire ecosystem. Join us for a journey of exploration, creativity, and learning.
