About This Activity

Get creative through exploring a variety of coding and digital design platforms to build your knowledge and grow your skillset! If you’re excited about the wonderful world of technology and design, then you’ll want to join us for a week of hands-on coding adventures that will bring your ideas to life! Instead of focusing on a specific coding language, we introduce and explore several styles of coding platforms to give campers exposure to the vast world of code. Whether you're completely new to computer programming or come with experience, all skill levels are welcome. Come be part of the Coder Crew! Join this camp if you want to develop or enhance your current coding skills and create all sorts of fascinating tech-based projects. A computer programming program programmed to promote curiosity (say that quickly 3 times!) – all levels welcome! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 4 and 5 in September 2026. Girls* thrive when they have a focused space to discover, explore, and cultivate their love for science and engineering. Geering Up’s annual All Girls* Week encourages girls* and inspires the next generation of women* scientists. All Girls* camps offer the same STEM activities as their co-ed counterparts. *We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields. Cis girls/women and trans, genderqueer, or non-binary people are welcome at our All Girls* programming. For more information, visit our All Girls* page on our website. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
