About This Activity
THIS SESSION STARTS IN THE MORNING Join the Kids Kollective STEM Field Trips in Vancouver for an immersive and dynamic learning experience designed for young minds aged 2-8 years old. Our small group sessions, limited to just 5 kids, ensure personalized attention and hands-on engagement for each child. If your child has an older sibling, please text (646)600-8931 for accommodations. Every weekend, we explore different locations such as Science World, Coal Harbour Community Centre, West End Community Centre, or Whole Foods on Robson Street. Each 3-hour session takes the children on a journey of discovery, utilizing world engagement and incorporating STEM principles through various educational methods. At Kids Kollective, we embrace unschooled, Bezos, Musk, and Montessori methods to foster holistic development. Our goal is to intelligently engage children with the world around them, providing high-tech experiences that include building computers, coding, 3D printing, modelling engineering with Legos, and much more. While parents are more than welcome to join our sessions, we highly encourage them to take some time for themselves – grab a coffee, run errands, or simply enjoy a moment of personal time. In our experience, children often engage differently when parents are present. The comfort of having parents around can sometimes impact the dynamic of the learning environment. Join us on these exciting STEM adventures, where learning is not only educational but also a whole lot of fun!
